2004 Imoni Soup Party

This Saturday, *Imoni Soup Party will be held around Ushigoe bridge. Students of the following universities are invited: Tohoku University, Miyagi University of Education, Tohoku Gakuin University, Miyagi Gakuin Women’s University, and Tohoku Fukushi University. 　 It is a wonderful opportunity to deepen exchanges with international students and Japanese students in other universities. If you are interested in making friends or trying delicious traditional soup in Tohoku district, please join us! 　 　 *Imoni Soup Party is one of traditional customs in Tohoku district, North-east area of Japan. In autumn, people gather by the riverside, and cook pork (or beef) vegetable soup in a big pot with their families, friends or neighbors.
