 Academic Exchange Agreement Signed with

Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, Thailand

Agreement on Academic Exchange was concluded between Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tohoku University and Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, Bangkok in Thailand.@The Signing Ceremony took place in the afternoon of October 23 at the Graduate School of Economics and Management, Kawauchi Campus of Tohoku University.

 

 

Prof. Porn-anong Niyomuka Horikawa, Vice President and Prof. Ampika Krairit, Head of MBA Course at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology visited Tohoku University for this auspicious occasion.

 

The ceremony was attended by the notables from the Graduate School of Economics, Tohoku University: Dean Hino, Vice Dean Hiramoto, Vice Dean Akita, Prof. Nishizawa and Senior Assistant Prof. Suematsu.

 

Also, we were honored to have Mr. Terada, Director of General Policy Department, Planning and Community Affairs Bureau@Sendai City and Mr. Wada, General Manager of Japan-Thailand Economic Cooperation Society (JTECS), in the ceremony.

 

Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology is a new university and was highly honored by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Former Prime Mister Yoshiro Mori at its opening ceremony on August 2, 2007.@

 

From its preparatory stage, Prof. Akio Nishizawa, Graduate School of Economics and Management was actively involved in the opening of the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology.

 

It is exceptional initiative for Graduate School of Economics and Management to conclude an Agreement on Academic Exchange with a newly established university. However, we place great significance in assisting with educational training of its students and to become involved in projecting the expansion of Japanfs academic and industrial technologies through partnerships with local companies in Thailand.
