IEEE Jun-ichi Nishizawa Medal
Prof.
Mitsumasa Koyanagi,
Department of
Bioengineering and Robotics at Tohoku University Graduate School of Engineering,
was presented the IEEE Jun-ichi Nishizawa Medal at the IEEE Honor Ceremony held
in Hotel Hyatt Regency Minneapolis on June 24 , 2006.
The
IEEE
Junichi-Nishizawa Medal is established in 2002 to honor the outstanding
contributions of Dr. Jun-ichi Nishizawa, Professor Emeritus of Tohoku
University. This medal is awarded annually to individuals and teams (up
to three members)
for their distinguished achievements in electronic engineering and
materials chemistry.
